About
My name is Hamish Coleman and I’ve been handling and installing artworks for as long as I have been a practicing artist. I graduated with a BFA (Hons) in painting from Ilam School of Fine Arts, University of Canterbury in 2012. HC Art Installation began in Pōneke Wellington, where I hav resided for over 10 years.
When fresh out of art school, I worked for galleries such as The Dowse and City Gallery Wellington, as well as numerous dealer and private spaces as an installer. Practicality comes naturally to me, and alongside my career as an artist I have also been fortunate to hone my installation skills, while acquiring insight into the importance and preciousness of art collections.
